We believe that following an environmentally green policy at Microspec is a good business practice and that it is our duty to preserve and restore the world’s natural resources for the benefit of future generations. In keeping with this belief, it is our policy to conduct business in an environmentally responsible way that protects the public, our associates, and the Earth that we all share.
Microspec will be proactive in complying with environmental regulations and are committed to the following:
- Making environmental concerns integral to our planning and decision making
- Educating our associates to be accountable for environmental stewardship and encouraging them to find innovative ways to improve environmental aspects of Microspec operations
- Avoiding or at least minimizing environmental impact from our operations
- Continuously improving our environmental programs (ISO 13485)
- Promoting efficient use of energy and natural resources through an energy management program
- Recycling materials where possible
- Ensuring proper handling and disposal of all electronics, IT products, and other waste
- Supporting research, development programs and technologies aimed at minimizing global warming
